The Tuwaiq Reserve is an expansive 3,300km² project in the Arabian Peninsula’s heart, adjacent to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The project aimed to develop the strategic directions for this reserve to safeguard the region’s unique biodiversity and natural systems, combating habitat loss and climate change impacts.
In alignment with Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision to promote tourism and environmental conservation, current situation assessments and efforts are underway to develop the reserve as a significant eco-tourism destination and improve the overall experience in the reserve in terms of accessibility and developments that aim to enhance visitor experiences while ensuring the preservation of the environment.
