Infrastructure Draftsperson - Visual Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Drafting (2D/3D):

• Produce detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for road layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and other infrastructure elements.

• Create and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings for specific project requirements.

• Develop accurate 3D models of roads, bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructure elements using industry-standard software (e.g., Civil 3D, InfraWorks, SketchUp).

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate representation of design details and specifications.

• Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation.

• 3D Modeling and Rendering (Visualization Focus):

• Create realistic 3D renderings and animations for project presentations and approvals.

• Develop compelling visuals to effectively communicate design concepts.

• Presentation Design:

• Design engaging PowerPoint presentations with 3D visualizations and technical data.

• Produce clear and accessible presentations for diverse audiences.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience in 2D and 3D drafting, preferably in infrastructure or transportation projects.

• Proficiency in industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, SketchUp, Lumion, 3ds Max, PowerPoint).

• Strong understanding of civil engineering and infrastructure design principles.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Creative problem-solving abilities.

• A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of drafting and 3D visualization projects, ideally including infrastructure examples.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Experience in transportation and infrastructure projects (road development, bridges, utilities).

• Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).

• Familiarity with virtual reality and augmented reality technologies.

• Experience working with GIS data.
